Where Service Matters Associates Recognized at A+E Networks
We congratulate our Where Service Matters Associates at A+E Networks for their continued commitment to delivering excellent customer service!
On Friday, March 29, 2019, The Millennium Group (TMG), Where Service Matters Associates were recognized at the 2nd Annual A+E Networks “Staff Choice Awards” recognition event located at the A+E Networks Headquarters in New York, NY. This annual event, thought of by TMG National Account Manager, Omar Roberts, recognizes TMG Associates who embody the six elements of “Where Service Matters:” Relationships, Development & Teamwork, Execution, Leadership & Stability, People & Professionalism, and Expertise.
The Regional event recognizes Associates who are nominated by their peers in three key categories; Excellent Customer Service, Owning Your Job and Exceptional Team Work. Twenty (20) TMG Associates were nominated throughout the region, which of that, five (5) nominees were nominated for all three (3) categories. As last year’s annual event, there was a tie in one of the categories; this year the tie was for the “Excellent Customer Service Award.”
This year’s winner are:
Excellent Customer Service (tie)– Jasmine Taylor, New York Office & Stephanie Williams, Stamford office
Owning Your Job – Elvira Capala, New York office
Teamwork – God Smallwood, New York office
“Being a service department, we often hear about the downside of things, i.e., what went wrong or astray. While those issues do need to be addressed, it’s more important to recognize what goes right. The staff is the backbone of everything we do. They pick up the ball for each other to keep things moving forward. They mostly work their magic behind the scenes to make things happen and it appears seamless to the end user. I feel strongly that recognition leads to employee satisfaction and commitment,” says Denise Strong, Vice President of Office Services and Facilities, A+E Networks.
“This event embodies the long-standing customer relationship at A+E Networks. Our Associates have also been treated like part of the A+E Networks family,” says TMG Director of Security, Anthony Luongo.
This event, which recognizes the outstanding achievements of TMG Associates, is testament to the efforts of the entire Where Service Matters Team and is truly a team building endeavor where each employee is afforded the opportunity to nominate and vote for their peers. Omar Roberts added “It is my pleasure to acknowledge the fine work and recognize the efforts of the TMG Associates at A+E Networks.”
