TMG Expands At Duke Energy

Duke Energy Extends and Expands Managed Mail and Courier Services from The Millennium Group


We at The Millennium Group (TMG), Where Service Matters, are proud to announce an expansion and multi-year extension of our managed mail services partnership with Duke Energy. Duke Energy is one of the largest electric power holding companies in the United States, providing electricity to 7.7 million retail customers across six states.

For over five (5) years, our Where Service Matters professional service teams have executed a number of business support services including Mail, Shipping & Receiving, CCR Payment Runs, Document Delivery and Courier Services Management within seven (7) Duke Energy offices nationwide, including its Charlotte, NC headquarters. Other offices are located in Cincinnati, OH; Raleigh, NC; St Petersburg, FL; Lake Mary, FL; Plainfield, IN; and Crystal River, FL.

Our success with Duke allowed them to entrust us with a significant expansion of responsibilities resulting in substantial cost savings. As part of a new multi-year agreement, TMG’s scope now includes previously outsourced regional courier services throughout the Southeast U.S. TMG now directly executes eleven (11) daily courier routes of which each route averages 1,500 miles weekly.

TMG’s success, led by Shannon Lynn Lewis, stems from a perfect safety record: zero incidents over its five-year tenure, and 100% staff retention over the past three years. Our Where Service Matters teams are focused on cost cutting measures, improved service methodologies and standardized and detailed activity reporting providing an exceptional customer-focused experience. Despite the current pandemic, Shannon has stood on the frontline by traveling to Florida for nine (9) weeks to strategize, and start the Courier services process. She has maintained a smooth transition for the additional Courier services.

A large part of the renewal is a result of Shannon and her teams’ hard work and commitment to customer service. The teams have gone above and beyond their daily responsibilities to ensure top-notch services in all of the client locations, which have led to many client recognitions. TMG is deeply grateful to our entire Where Service Matters team at Duke Energy, who are tirelessly working on the frontline to service their customers.
