The Millennium Group Receives Certification as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)
The Millennium Group (TMG), Where Service Matters, a business specializing in Integrated Office & Facilities Management, Mail and Print Services Outsourcing, is proud to announce that it has been newly Certified by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).
This is a proud moment for TMG as they also just received their national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) in December 2019. “We cannot express how grateful and honored we are to be recognized for these two classifications,” said Leticia Murphy, Founder and CEO of the company. ““Having these certifications provides a number of benefits to a Minority and Woman-Owned business like ours as well as the corporations supporting supplier diversity. We look forward to partnering with WBENC, NMSDC, and their corporate members.” These milestones are major moves for TMG on their mission to deliver excellent levels of customer service and positively impact the organizations it serves.
The primary objective of the NMSDC is to provide a direct link between corporate America and minority-owned businesses. Chartered in 1972 to provide increased procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses of all sizes, the NMSDC is one the country’s leading business membership organizations. The MBE criteria for certification confirms that TMG is a minority business that is at least 51% minority-owned operated and controlled. Standardized procedures assure consistent, identical, and rigorous review and certification of MBEs throughout the NMSDC Network.
"We stand ready to help our clients meet their commitment to Diversity & Inclusion. The entire company is dedicated to supporting our clients across a number of contexts,” said Leticia Murphy. Being a Minority Women-Owned Business Enterprise benefits TMG’s clients by helping them achieve their diversity initiatives, demonstrating their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs. It also provides TMG’s clients with a proven professional services partner holding a certification that is nationally accepted by hundreds of major corporations and government entities.
